Facebook announced a major update to the platform earlier this morning at the f8 Facebook Developers conference. Facebook Profiles as you know them are gone. What is on its way in is a new product, Facebook Timeline, that essentially provides more of a scrapbook experience of your life through Facebook. Here’s the trendy video about Facebook Timelines:

It’s a pretty interesting change, with a much nicer design and representation of our digital selves. Facebook will be releasing Timeline towards the end of the month, but for those of you that can’t wait, here’s how to get early access (warning: some level of geekiness is required to accomplish this task!):
