We all love Wordpress because it is quick, easy and there are a whopping number of plugins, themes and the like out there to help us do pretty much anything we want to do with our site. However; the more mod-happy we get the more likely we are to install something and inadvertently break something else on the site. To ensure your blog is fully functional after installing a new mod, I’ve summarised a list put together over at Daily Blogging Tips.
For more information you can check out the post, but below is a quick checklist;
- Be sure to test your feeds are working.
- Ensure your contact page still works - which sadly mine does not at the moment!
- Ensure your About page is up to date.
- Thoroughly check each of the pages of your that they still display and link properly.
- Re-check your AdSense to ensure it still displays correctly and is producing relevant Ads.
- Regularly check your common outbound links to be sure none have gone dead.
- Update affiliate links in your posts should you join any new programs.
I recommend checking out the source for more info.

Great post Josh. I especially like the tip to keep your about page up to date. I think a lot of people forget to do this and it looks unprofessional to see incorrect or old info on the about page. It should be updated at least yearly. Well done!
